When using highlight or draw tools in power pdf advanced v. 1 these tools don't remain active after using. Therefore each time I want to highlight, for example, I have to go back to highlight icon on upper ribbon and re-click to use again (very inefficient). Is there a way to keep this feature to remain on when going through a document and highlighting or drawing??? If not, is this feature corrected in powerpdf v.2?

User is running PDF Converter Professional 8.1
They would like to leave the Highlight Area tool selected until they need it changed. Currently they use the Highlight area tool once then it reverts back to the Hand Tool, so each time they want to Highlight and Area they need to keep clicking it in the toolbar. Does anyone know of a way to leave this tool selected?

We have a HTML doc with links out to various PDF documents. Using Adobe we can simply use the 'Convert web page to PDF' command to create a single PDF of the whole 'website' with hyperlinks, bookmarks for each linked PDF and all PDF's rolled into the one PDF document.
Can this be done in PowerPDF Advanced?

Why is PFD Converter so slow to load in Windows 8? I'm using a brand new Toshiba P870 (i7). I'm running Windows 8 in 64 bit. All other applications seem to work fine. But PFD Converter is slower than a wet week when I click to open a PDF file.
I'd note that this does create a good coffee break (i.e. I can go out and boil the kettle, make coffee and return just when a PDF is loading). You could call it a "design feature"??? :-)

Hi my company has several version of PDF Converter Pro ranging from V5 through v7.
Over the years as a PC died we would typically reallocate the license to the replacement PC.
Also as an employee left the company we would uninstall "said" version and install it to another employee on a different PC.
I am now finding that once it goes out to the "internet" to register it will no longer allow us to do so.
That is on most all of the version we OWN.
How do we overcome this? I realize Nuance will likely say "tough" buy a new version but the company I work for will not spend the money.
Any help would be appreciated.

I received a pdf and when I opened it I saw a message "unable to find font "Stag-Bold". Some characters may not display or print correctly". Sure enough about half the pdf is rubbish. If I use Adobe I have no problems. Is there a solution to this in PDF Power?

My Power PDF Advanced 2 just stopped working. I get the following error message when trying to start it:
NUANCE POWER PDF: Unable to launch Gaaiho Doc because an important file is missing. Please re-install or fix.
Has anyone else had this problem yet?
I've spent 2.5 hrs on the phone with tech support. Uninstalled, ran special remove program, edited registry --- because they said Gaaiho was from Version 8 and no longer used. But still it won't work. They had me set up a new user and then the program worked; but I can't spend all that time transferring setup etc over to a new user. And what if it just stops working again? They had me send screen shot of error message, event log file and NFO file so they could work on problem. Then they asked for my phone number to call me, but I never heard back. Now their tech department is saying it's all closed until Monday and let them know "IF" I want them to call me. Rather disturbing and I'm worried that this cannot be fixed.
Has anyone used the Power PDF Advanced 2 and gone back to the previous version? That or getting a different PDF creator software seems my only options. I must do something as I require it daily.
I've had success before in finding solutions thru savvy users so I'm hoping someone out there can help.

I recently installed PDF Conv 8 Ent on a couple Win 7 - 64bit pc's. However when I try to convert a PDF to Word or RTF, I get an error saying that either pdfrouter.exe stopped or the whole program unexpectedly quit.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and manually run prerequisites several times on a couple different computers with the same results.
Converting from Word to PDF works fine. Also, my test installs on XP pc's work fine. So I don't know if I'm missing something or if there's a general misconfiguration or permissions issue on all my Win7 pc's.
Troubleshooting steps I've taken so far:
I have installed it as the local administrator. I have disabled UAC and Anti-Virus software. I have manually installed the prerequisites. Rebuilt Win7 from scratch on a different pc not attached to my domain.
But still when I try to convert a PDF to a doc or rtf, I get the error "pdfrouter.exe has stopped working." The PDF creation part works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We received a batch of pdf submittals, we need to review and put our office stamp on it to indicate we have approved or rejected, etc. We have set up a comment w/stamp and exported it as a comment, used as needed for a while with no issues. However a recent submittal came in and every time we import comment w/stamp or cut and paste the comment w/stamp from a document where it appears correctly, it arrives rotated on the submittal.
Is there a way to Un-Rotate when importing the comment? We have no control over the creation of the pdf files that are sent to us for review.

Come on guys this is not hard, and only you can do it. The menus and bars are too small to reach with a high resolution monitor, and no it cannot be fixed in windows or with a restart. Do you actually support your product?

When I scan documents, the viewer opens them as a PDF, and sometimes I need to combine different files because they scanned in separately.
The problem with having to save them first is that it takes extra time and I end up with multiple unnecessary files if I don't remember to delete them.
Question: If I have two opened, unsaved documents, can I combine them before saving them as one file? I do not see a cut/paste option.

Hi,
I have upgraded to PDF Advanced 2.0 however the icon to replace a page in the Home>Pages menu is no longer there. If I right click on the page the option is there to replace the page so the function is still available.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to add the icon?
